This residential camp is designed specifically for youth who otherwise could not afford to come to camp. The program includes crafts, ropes courses, swimming, campfires, and much more. The teen program (ages 13-15) operates out of a rustic village and focuses on teamwork and leadership through adventure activities.

The teen program (ages 13-15) operates out of our rustic river village and focuses on teamwork and leadership through adventure activities.
This residential camp is designed specifically for younger campers who want to try out a shorter camp week. The program includes crafts, swimming, campfires, and much more.
This residential camp is in partnership with the Cincinnati Police Department. Youth live in the cabins with officers and camp counselors, participate in traditional camp activities, watch special unit presentations (such as the SWAT & K9 teams), and learn about police work.

The teen program (ages 13-15) operates out of a rustic village and focuses on teamwork and leadership through adventure activities. Core Camp (Ages 16-17)
July 31-Aug 4
Core Camp is a year-round program for a group of hand-picked “All Star” campers from all of Camp Joy summer camp programs who want to become a peer leader at Camp Joy. This program focuses on leadership and social skills. Obviously, there will be s’mores! Campers must be invited to participate in this program.
Fire F.L.Y. (Future Leaders of Youth) (ages 15-17)
Session 1: June 5-9 & 12-16
Session 2: June 19-23 & 26-30
Session 3: July 10-14 & 17-21
A teen leadership program designed for campers who want to become a counselor at Camp Joy. This program focuses on leadership and cabin management skills. Campers will participate in a 2-week program with one week devoted to observation and training and a second in cabin mentoring with a counselor.
Fostering Success (ages 9-16)
Camp Joy is partnering with the Children’s Home of Cincinnati and local foster care agencies to provide a unique, hands-on camp experience for youth within the foster care system. The goal of the program is to empower foster youth through education and support while increasing their developmental assets with expectations that they will learn, grow and succeed throughout their lives. (Program consists of 9 monthly overnight weekend respites and a 5-day summer camp experience for youth)
