ANDREW MCKAIN
ANDREW MCKAINTechnology and Data Manager
Andrew brings both heart and dedication to his role as Camp Joy’s Technology and Data Manager. Over the past nine years, he has grown alongside the organization, starting as an experiential educator and stepping into roles across campus logistics, Outdoor School Program leadership, and now technology and data. Wherever there’s a need, Andrew shows up ready to help move things forward. While his work focuses on systems and data, his impact reaches far beyond that. He sees his role as part of a larger ripple effect, supporting staff, strengthening programs, and helping more kids experience growth, connection, and belonging.
Andrew’s connection to Camp Joy’s mission is deeply personal. After a pivotal moment at camp, he and his wife began fostering, eventually adopting two sons and welcoming another into their home. For Andrew, Camp Joy didn’t just shape his career, it helped shape his family. Outside of work, he enjoys gaming, leading a weekly Pokémon club, participating in a long-running Dungeons and Dragons group, and spending time outdoors camping and backpacking. He also loves cooking and baking, even running a seasonal cottage baking business, showing up fully and investing in others wherever he is.

The excitement of learning and growing at Camp Joy all begins with our first connection with you.
