Darla Corwin, Finance Manager has a passion for accounting and a heart for enriching young lives. Darla graduated from Franklin University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and has spent the majority of her career working in public accounting and audit.
Darla and her husband recently relocated from Sandusky to be closer to their six grandchildren, whom they adore. Prior to joining Camp Joy, Darla helped open and manage a multi-million-dollar sports center owned by Cedar Point in Sandusky, where she served as the Finance and HR Manager for four years.
In her free time, Darla enjoys spending time with her family, working on puzzles, and rooting for the Washington Capitals (NHL) and Hershey Bears (AHL for the Caps) hockey clubs. She also has two dogs, a Great Dane and a Bloodhound, who keep her and her husband very busy.
Darla grew up in Nurnberg, Germany as an Army brat and has four adult daughters, three son-in-laws, and six beautiful grandchildren, all of whom bring her immense joy.
Darla was drawn to Camp Joy because of her desire to make a financial impact and help enrich the lives of young people. Her expertise in finance and passion for making a difference make her an essential part of our team.
