Camp Joy Philanthropy Policy
Camp Joy and Camp Joy Foundation will not seek and record information about visitors to the website. Camp Joy will seek and record only information that is relevant to the programs and use it only for program purposes, and Camp Joy Foundation will seek and record only information that is relevant to fund raising, community relations, and development and use it only for those purposes. Camp Joy and Camp Joy Foundation will maintain all records in secure files, and the information obtained will not be sold or exchanged. The information will be given only to persons or organizations that need such information to perform their assigned duties, including companies that prepare mailings, append databases, visit donors or donor prospects on our behalf, or any other uses related to the fulfillment of Camp Joy’s and Camp Joy Foundation’s missions. Any outside vendor or service provider receiving our mailing list(s) must agree that the information will be used only for the specified project.

Camp Joy Foundation publishes names and gift levels in an annual report and sometimes in other media as a way of publicly thanking donors. The name of a corporation or foundation will be omitted from donor lists if the entity’s gift coordinator indicates that a gift is anonymous. Individual donors likewise can request that their names be omitted from such lists. Individual donor envelopes specifically state that the gift will be acknowledged in lists unless the donor requests otherwise.
