Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Facility Manager
Department: Operations
Overall Function: Assist in the daily maintenance, construction and upkeep of the Facility.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Perform duties such as, but not limited to: mowing, landscaping, snow removal, cleaning, mechanical work, construction and troubleshooting facility issues.
- Operate and maintain the assets of the Facility in a safe, effective and efficient manner, following organization’s policies and procedures.
- Possess skills including, but not limited to: carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical to construct new and/or maintain and enhance physical assets of the camp. Conduct preventative/routine maintenance and keep in good working order — all machinery, vehicles, equipment and mechanical systems.
- Accurately follow all processes to ensure proper documentation, safety and risk management requirements are met.
- Provide excellent, professional customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Lead and/or work with volunteer groups on projects.
- Maintain positive staff and vendor relationships.
- Provide on-call emergency service when necessary.

Job Title: Kitchen Staff
Reports to: Guest Services Manager
Department: Guest Services
Overall Function: Provide food preparation and dining services to enhance client’s experience.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare meals including food prep, cooking and beverage service, according to organizational standards and Health Dept. regulations.
- Perform food service delivery and cleanup services, such as plating food, set up dining areas, replenish food, beverage and silverware, bus tables/buffet and wash dishes as necessary.
- Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas according to Health Dept. codes.
- Receive and verify food service deliveries, monitor and rotate stock, communicate low inventories and irregularities to Guest Services Manager.
- Observe, calculate and record all required information for Health Dept. and organizational logs. Report irregularities to Guest Services Manager.
- Assist Guest Services Manager with menu development, advising of available stock and offering new menu item suggestions.
- Empty trash and recycling from kitchen and dining hall at end of shift.
- Maintain cleaning and kitchen equipment in good order. Report issues to Guest Services manager.
- Provide on-call emergency service when necessary.
